Tacama (16 April 2006)

John and I decided to make a little surprise for Mary. So we planned to visit the famous peruvian wineyard and company "Tacama". John had to drive so much in the middle of a very bad road and Mary and the girls had no idea where we were going.

Finally Mary guessed the truth, we were driving towards "Tacama". We arrived at 4pm trusting in our book and we discovered that the company closes at 4pm. Then John had to beg and said that we made a lot of effort to be there and fortunately they let us in.

Here we are in the classic photo.

It was amazing all the fields full of vines. Take a look to the next photos.

Also the factory and the wine producing process was impressive. Here I am infront of 2 barrels.

The whole winery was well kept and looked after. Here is John in the courtyard.

I have to say that this was a very good idea not just because of Mary, but also for the rest of us. This peruvian company is a good example of work and how things can be done well. This another reason because peruvians (including me) have to feel proud.
