Rafting and kayaking are popular sports in this area, so we had to try at least one of these. This was not a problem for John. Mary looked confident about this new adventure, Kate didn't mind and Emma and I were terrified.
First we had a safety briefing and then we began. Here we are before the experience. From L to R Mary, Lorena (seated), John, Emma and Kate.
When Emma and I saw the river we wondered "Is this the part for beginners??? Oh no, we will die". But the others were so relaxed. Unbelievable!!!!
We got in the river and my mind was telling me: just paddle and don't fall out of the raft. Also I was thinking my wedding is in one week, I can't die.
Finally I was rafting, paddling and getting wetter and wetter. It was fun and not so dangerous after all. It was a really good experience and I am sure I will do it again.
