Inca Trail - day 3 (30 April 2006)

The third day on the trail started off well. We had breakfast and were soon underway. Shortly afterwards we were overtaken by the heavily burdened porters.


It was really pleasant walking along the Inka trail that morning. We crossed a third pass (3,700m) and had some great views.



But then the descent began. A lot of stairs going down and down and down.



We visited the ruins of Inti Pata and were really impressed by the Inka terracing.
