We love to get married... Australian Wedding (21 October 2006)

We got married in Peru twice (civil and religious) but we decided that it was not enough. We planned and had another wedding here in Australia. It was really good to have this experience again - this time with John's family and friends.

Here are some pictures of the religious service in St Ann's church - Aldinga.

Australian Wedding - Family and Friends (21 October 2006)

Family and friends are the most important part of a wedding. They are the ones that celebrate with us and enjoy our happiness and love.

Here from L to R the extended Gordon Family. Elspeth, Dylan (front), Simon, Alison (front), Lorena, John, Kate, Mary, Emma, Diddi and Bruce.

Just the original Gordons. From L to R: Elspeth, Mary, Lorena, John, Diddi and Bruce.

Photo Session at Port Willunga (21 October 2006)

After the religious service we went to Port Willunga to have our photo session. We chose this place because it is special for John. He spend his childhood here and he has lots of good memories. Here are our favorities photos.

A romantic couple looking to the future.

In the boat caves.

What a day.

Port Willunga (21 October 2006)

The photo session was so much fun. We played a lot and we got so many good photos we decided to make this collage.

Port Willunga is an amazing beach. All shots were excellent and we laughed and laughed.

One of our favorites. Our "post-card" photo.

Reception... a brilliant idea! (Willunga 21 October 2006)

After the photo session at Port Willunga Beach was the reception at John's parents home. Their house is incredible since it has a fantastic garden - including a lake. We were surrounded by that stunning landscape that makes Australia so famous. I should say Australia is a "paradise".

We had the idea of arriving at the reception by boat. Yes, we did it. John's friends were shouting "row, row, row". It was incredible and romantic. Here is a collage so you can see how it was.

Here we are approaching the reception.

It was a little difficult to get out of the boat wearing a wedding gown and heels. But it was so much fun. (Thanks Margaret and Warren for this great photo).

We were warmly welcomed at the reception. Here we are with all the guests.

This photo is one of our favorites. You can feel you are living the moment.

Reception (Willunga 21 October 2006)

The reception at "Tranquility" in Willunga was a success. Everything was perfect and the most important thing was that everything was made with so much love from all "The Gordon's" and close friends. To start the reception the formal dancing of the bride and groom.

Of course we had to cut the cake.

Here is the bouquet for the singles. Lucky Mary caught it.

To finish this blog a nice photo with our flags. Here we are.
